Our Story
Born from a Love of Bali
Bali Villas was founded by two long-time residents of the island who grew frustrated with the noise of the mainstream booking market — the endless scrolling, the inflated listings, the race to the bottom on price.
We set out to do something different: identify the ten villas that genuinely stand apart, build relationships with their owners, and offer guests a direct, personal path to booking them.
Every villa in our collection has been visited, stayed in, and assessed against a set of criteria that goes beyond thread counts and pool sizes. We look for soul — the quality of light in the morning, the care in the architecture, the feeling of arriving somewhere that was made to be lived in.

Alexandra has lived in Bali for over a decade, working first as an architect before turning her eye to the island's finest private residences. She leads every villa assessment.

Marcus brings a background in luxury hospitality to every guest interaction. He oversees the booking process and ensures each stay begins long before arrival.
Dewi Kusuma
Villa Relations
A Bali native, Dewi manages our relationships with villa owners and their teams, ensuring the standards we promise are the standards guests experience.
